Women Aspire Empowerment Initiative makes a compelling presentation on the effects of climate change on women in Nigeria at the “Feminists Communities for Climate Justice” forum organised by the National Women’s Council of Ireland (NWCI)

On Thursday, the 6th of June 2024, in Ireland, Women Aspire Empowerment Initiative’s Program Director for EU, Amb. Yvonne Agba Mefor made a compelling case for Nigerian women as an underrepresented as well as marginalised group whose source of livelihood is constantly affected by climate change.

By this strategic action, WAEI is bringing the plight of Nigerian women to the attention of a global audience of women made up of researchers, policymakers, health, and climate professionals.
